The best time to visit greece is from Easter to the middle of June as the beaches and tourist areas are generally not crowded. Accommodation will be cheaper and the weather isn’t so extreme. It is a similar story from the August until the middle of October.
The winter months are generally mild and wet and the summers are hot and dry. In the mountainous regions of mainland Greece, the weather can be extreme during winter. The average weather on the islands during summer is just above 30°C (87°F) but conditions are excellent as there is often a breeze to make things comfortable.
